The hotel offered a stunning setting with beautiful views, making it a perfect location for a relaxing getaway. The service provided by the staff was excellent, with personalized attention and quick response to requests. The rooms were comfortable and luxurious, providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
That the room I stayed in was quite small, which was a bit disappointing considering the price. the bathroom was on the smaller side, although the view made up for it.

Outstanding country house hotel with frindly staff from top to bottom. The restaurant is superlative and has maintained its well deserved reputation
For older people such as ourselves the bath in the Lotus room is very high sided and therefore difficult to get in and out

Staff very helpful, good decor, good food, beautiful location. The room was perfect - comfortable, great lake view. Very knowledgeable waiters.
The bar was eerily quiet and could have done with some subdued background music; felt a bit rushed over dinner and the table was a little small. However, these comments must be taken in the context of an overall fantastic experience.

Spent Christmas at a charming country hotel by a beautiful lake. the staff were very helpful and the rooms were spacious with great views. the food was delicious and perfectly cooked. the complimentary hot chocolate was a lovely touch. the hotel provided warm jackets for a walk around the nature trails which was enjoyable.
The noise from the heater in the room which was disturbing during the night. the location was quite far from the city center and the hotel transportation was limited.

Loved the pampering, luxurious feel. Stunning gardens, excellent food.
Bedroom was so hot! Could have done with a fan/air conditioning. Service was extremely pleasant but rather slow,we waited nearly 40 minutes for our breakfast to arrive, time we could have spent walking in the gardens before our departure.

One small thing. There were toe nail clippings in the bathroom under the small mirror - not ours!

The setting was ideal and the surroundings were what we were looking for. We liked the luxury offered and the attention given by the staff, who were very helpful. The room was very good and comfortable.
We found somethings expensive such as drinks and the meals. Also we were surprised that there was no complimentary tea making facilities in the room and were forced to use either room service or ordering tea/coffee in the lounge area.
